You should /rarely/ if /ever/ need to reboot your router, at least in my
experience.

I have a ZyXel Prestige 634 that has been working like a champ since
install.  I have it configured a dumb bridge and have a Linux box behind
it to take care of maintaining the connection (PPPoE and NAT duties).
