Well, didn't make a heck of a lot of sense to me, as I was already
subscribed to the list being "digested." My own impression is that
digests may work where there are fewer active threads at a time and so
you don't run the risk of a dozen or more "digests" in a day. On this
list, well, I had the strange idea that it would be one a week with a
human-summarised rendition of the major points of valuable information
shared here. Just my wild presumption, quickly corrected by being
exposed to the actual list.
