There is not one for Debian specifically to my knowledge. There is the
"Linux Hardware Compatibility HOWTO" that can be found at
<http://www.tldp.org> (among other places). Debian is just another Linux
distribution using the Linux kernel (as opposed to a Debian kernel).
Usually hardware is dependent upon support in the kernel, so if it
can be made to work in Linux, it can be made to work in Debian.

What I normally do is search the web for linux and the hardware device I'm
curious about and usually find something about it, pro or con.
