Are you saying that you now have _two_ Files sections?

Yup.  startx, etc. without a hiccup.

XFree86 wouldn't let me start until I bracketed those two FontPath lines--the Section/EndSection seemed logical, and is just the first thing I tried ;-/

Currently have a menu_drop_shadow-patched copy of gtk+ compiling in the background, and things are a little slow, but . . . .
