By default, mail ends up in /var/spool/mail/(username), but typically mail to root is forwarded to the admin's non-root account. /etc/aliases is a common place to find mail mappings of this sort. Additionally, any user can forward his mail elsewhere with a .forward file in his home directory. Craig
