strictly speaking GNU TeXmacs is not a TeX/LaTeX editor it only uses
the TeX fonts and some LaTeX classes then stores documents in its
native format, conversion from TeXmacs format to LaTeX and vice versa
is not perfect.

it is still a very good Document Processor with some very inovative
ideas and a great GUI.
