Not only that, but X mmap()'s all the card's memory.  So, if you have
(say) two 64MB cards, then that'll add 128MB to X's footprint right off
the bat.  This is *not* taking up any of your actual RAM, it's just an
artifact of how the kernel reports memory usage.
