RAID & EXT2-fs error

Hi all,

I am trying to install a Debian testing box with root on RAID 1 following
the instructions given at http://karaolides.com/computing/HOWTO/lvmraid/

Everything works fine until I add the initial install disk into the
RAID array (http://karaolides.com/computing/HOWTO/lvmraid/node26.html).
The RAID 1 then start reconstructing (as it should) but when it reaches
the root (on an ext2 fs) I see the following message on the console:

eth0: Too much work at interrupt; IntrStatus = 0x0001

Moreover, the logs seem to point out the problem (how the two are
related I don't have a clue! :-( ):

    kernel: EXT2-fs error (device md(9,1)): ext2_check_page: bad entry in directory #487195: rec_len is smaller than minimal - offset=0, inode=0, rec_len=0, name_len=0

No need to say, after that the system goes berzek and most of the
commands stop working. However, if I reboot, the problems seem to have
disappeared (the reconstruction restarts from scratch with /home, on
reiserfs, and all is fine until it reaches / ...).

Any help is very welcome.

Cheers,
ChriS
