I was scratching my head asking myself the same question. i thought i
messed up the net install...so i made the cd's and installed off
them....same deal. that's the kernell that's installed off the cd's!
strange huh?

i found some old posts and looked into the kernel .deb packages. didn't
know the modules were included (this is the first time i've had to
replace a kernell). thanks for your help!
