What kind of info goes into a Packages.gz file (hate to be such a newbie but
I'm transferring from the windows world).
I looked at 'man apt-cdrom' and got really confused so any help you can
offer is appreciated.

1) Make a Packages(.gz) file and put it onto the cdrom...
2) mount the CD-Rom
3) Run dselect
4) Access method -> mounted
