well, i went ahead and did lynx localhost:631

in second screen, it asks for device for hpdj710c. the options include appsocket hp
jetdirect, etc. what do i choose here?

i chose parellel port #1 (HEWLETT PACKARD 710C)

then i chose make hp

model 710c foomatic + pnm2ppa

it says hpdj710c added successfully.

when i say print test page, nothing happens!!

it just keeps saying attempting to connect to host deshmukh.work on port 9100!

thank for help
