Routing doesn't start automatically
Greetings-
In setting up my new machine, I've run into an odd problem. When the
machine boots, the routing table doesn't get restored correctly. I have
to type the following:
route add 192.168.0.3 eth0
route add default gw 192.168.0.3
in order to use any networking.
Here's my /etc/network/interfaces:
# /etc/network/interfaces -- configuration file for ifup(8), ifdown(8)
# The loopback interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
# The first network card - this entry was created during the Debian
installation
# (network, broadcast and gateway are optional)
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.0.14
netmask 255.255.255.252
network 192.168.0.12
broadcast 192.168.0.15
gateway 192.168.0.3
Any ideas?
