Has anyone upgraded their drivers for the Nvidia TNT2 card using the latest drivers, Nvidia_kernel-1.0.3123.tar.gz and Nvidia_glx-1.0.3123.tar.gz? And if so did you have any problems?

I have a TNT2 Ultra and i'm running that version with no problems (X occasionally crashes when i start a full screen video, but i think it's always been that way and is generally due to using closed source drivers on opensource, constantly changing kernels).
2.4.19 kernel at the moment.

Chris.

After I installed the header files and created the symlink to the directory where the nvidia script looked for the files the installation still failed. I had to run this command; make SYSINCLUDE=/usr/src/kernel-headers-2.4.18-bf2.4/include/linux . That created the binaries and installed the needed files into the correct directories. After that I ran dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86 and X started up with the new drivers.

The only hitch was my default gnome session wouldn't start. When I opted to start a new session everything worked and is still working as far as I can tell.

Thank you, to all that helped me get this working again.
