Everybody relax: Here `you' was clearly universal. The writer meant
anybody,
including himself. (Substitute the feeble & impersonal `one'.)
And with equal clarity the intended message was `as long as we do our
homework.'
I can be as hypersensitive as the next fellow, but in this instance I
can find no excuse for taking offense.
