perhaps back in the KDE 1.x days? I used to be a kwintv user
a couple years ago and remember reading on the website how the original
auther abandoned the project and it was not compadible with newer
QT or KDE(or both), so it went a long time w/o maintainence then someone
picked it up and started updating it again..
I use xawtv, but i don't do anything special, xawtv just sits fullscreen
640x480 on channel 3 24/7/365 for about 552 days now.
