apt-get install ... -> Dynamic MMap ran out

G'Day,

When I go to install a package at the moment using apt-get install (or
really any tool that reads the package lists) I get the following message
at about 97% into reading the package lists:

--- 8<---

E: Dynamic MMap ran out of room
E: Error occured while processing galeon (NewVersion1)
E: Problem with MergeList /var/lib/dpkg/status
