Sounds like you're trying to do something very similar to what I am
doing right now.


host_accept_relay = 127.0.0.1 : 192.168.0.0/16

This is the magic line you need to change in /etc/exim/exim.conf,
replace the 192.168.0.0/16 network with the one appropriate for yours.
