Yep.  It's really amusing to do that to my younger brother when he is
playing games when he shouldn't be on my dad's win98 system.

Huh?  It's windows, for crying out loud.  It can't handle any real
stress.

Of course.  The system has a decent (efficient, robust, etc) TCP/IP
stack and plenty of bandwidth to ECHO the ECHO_REQUESTS.

Sure.  I suspect that an NT-based system will respond better than a 9x
system, but I wouldn't put my expectations too high :-).
