I don't have kde installed on this machine, but galeon seems to eat up
all available memory and then every app has very slow response.

I have 384MB ram with the same in swap.  I can be maxed out in ram and
swap, then close galeon, restart with the same sites loaded and top
shows 240MB used as opposed to 750+MB
