Mozilla is fairly hungry, but your system should be sufficient.  It
runs acceptably badly on my 300MHz, 128Mb system.

The Kylix GUI is a Windoze GUI running under wine, IIRC.  So there
should be a wine config somewhere to fix this.  Maybe setting up
freetype would help?
