Make your kernel with your SCSI device and Network device (built-in the 
kernel, not in modules)
Then:
cat /usr/src/linux/arch/i386/bzImage > /dev/fd0 (if your processor is a 
x86 else change)
rdev /dev/fd0 /dev/hda2 (if your root device is hda2 else change)

That's all i think.
