The minimal set would be

- /etc/apt/sources.list Change all 'woody' to 'sarge'
- apt-get update
- apt-get dist-upgrade


Earlier, when upgrading from potato to woody, some packages would fail
to install, and it was necessary to run dist-upgrade several times,
until it said there were no packages to upgrade.  Things might be better
now, and woody and sarge are much closer now than potato and woody were
a year ago.
