upgrade from woody to sarge

http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/quick-reference/examples/go-woody

claims to be a script for upgrading from potato to woody. However,
there is no mention of either in the script, just stable, testing, and
unstable. Am I right in assuming that the script is for upgrading
from stable to testing, which today would mean from woody to sarge?
If not, what needs to be changed in the script in order to achieve
this?

Thanks,
Stein
