Filesystems and samba

Goodday

I have setup my computer with samba(running on a Debian box, unstable)
and get the following if a do requests to WinXP(Whitehead) &
Win2000(Mindlessdemon) computers on a LAN. Can anybody please help me
with this problem.(Not being able to use the smbclient -M <user> command
with these machines).

Another thing i would like advise of. I'm cna't seem to find out how to
format drives from the console? I would like to be able to format
different types of partitions including fat32. The other thing is that I
am wondering if there is a utility for win to read ext2/3 filesystems.
I've heard of such utilities but can't find it. The Last thing -> If a
raid 1 was set up in example winxp, can I set it up to be used in debian
to?
