From the installation menu, I tried executing a shell, but on the supplied ramdisk I don't have access to any file called /etc/network/interfaces. the network directory is not even there. It's a ramdisk, and I don't have access to any ifup command either.
Note that I have mandrake's cd and I can get a network connection from that install, but I want to run Debian/GNU.
