pine 4.00 did this a few years ago.

if mail clients could display html mail in a  "secure" way I
wouldn't be so against it. that is do not load ANYTHING that
is not included with the message itself. and maybe even display
a big flashing warning when you click on something in an html
email(which could then be disabled ..).

and if the html email could be toned down, one of the last things
I want to see if someone emailing me text that is 2 inches tall
in blue capital letters.

i just wish mozilla 1.0 could render html mail as text only,
i hear that 1.1 can  ..
