I would also like to tell you that while shutting down I get the
message that "warning : System.map is not parseable" as well as
"warning:  " I had copied the systam map from the /usr/src to /boot
after kernel compilation. I am also getting LOTS of unresolved symbols
in net, misc, & usb modules. I woudl have posted them here but the
output redirection ( as well as pipe to less ) is not working with
depmod. Is it something relevent to my problem or should I just forget
it ?
