Bizarre X problem
Hi all,
Today I logged onto my Debian/unstable workstation and started X to
discover a bizarre problem. Somehow the X server thinks all mouse events
are about 32 pixels to the left of where they actually occur. That is,
for example, if I click on the left edge of a window, it does not receive
the event, but if I click several pixels past the right edge of a window,
it does.
I've tried installing the previous version of X (xserver-xfree86 version
4.1.0-16, current in unstable is -17) and switching window managers.
Neither makes a difference. This problem just showed up today, but I
don't remember doing anything that might have triggered it, aside from
keeping up with the latest unstable packages.
My video card is a Trident Cyberblade i7 AGP. Below is reproduced my
XF86Config-4. If anyone has any idea what caused this problem or how to
fix it, or even if you have the same problem, please let me know!
