I'd suggest pilot-link over coldsync.  I think it's been around quite a while 
longer, and like Paul said, there are many front-ends like 'jpilot' that makes 
playing with your Palm^H^H^H^H Hand^H^H^H^H PDA more fun (it's hard to make 
that not sound dirty).

But you'll need to follow the Handspring-Visor howto.  Not really hard.  I had 
it working on woody many moons ago, since moved to sid.  Let us know if you 
have problems.
