I have installed the emu10k1 drivers from SourceForge and installed them correctly. However, when I try to open up XMMS or any mixer it says "/dev/mixer: device not found." If I look in /dev I can see "mixer" sitting there. I'm not sure why this happens. Can anyone help or offer suggestions? I'm running Woody on the 2.4.18 kernel. Could this have anything to do with my trying to install the ALSA drivers before and not being successful at it? I'm running Woody on kernel 2.4.18.
