make-kpkg error

Hi there,

still trying to get soundw orking, I'm recompiling the kernel; using
2.4.18 and a patch to 2.4.19-rc1

It doesn't work.  I get this error message:

The problem seems to be with a line in main.c recarding root_device_name
.. Does anyone know how I fix this problem?
