Hi:

I found the following in /usr/share/doc/ppp/README.linux.gz:

	"Under the 2.4 kernels, there are two PPP modules, ppp_generic.o
	and ppp_async.o, plus the compression modules (ppp_deflate.o,
	bsd_comp.o and slhc.o)."

Well, uname -r yields:
	2.2.18pre21

So I'm not using 2.4. Should I just change the char-major-108 alias
reference to 'ppp' or eliminate it?
