RE: Help configuring remote 720C printer

Thanks for your help, but it seems like there's still some problem.. I
configured my printer (manually because AutoDetect didn't work). Here
is my config data:

Name: lp0
Spool Directory: /var/spool/lpd/lp0
File Limit in Kb: 0 (no limit)
Samba name of printer server: RAUL
IP number of server: 10.0.0.x
Printer Name: HP722C
User: <remote PC username>
Password: <password for the username>
Workgroup: <Workgroup>
Input Filter:
Here I specified an HP 710/720 Series, black and white,
econofast mode, and extra options "-v 722" to specify my printer type.

I've tried this running X as my local user and as root with no luck.
The printer works perfectly if I print from a Windows XP computer which
is also in the same intranet.

Thanks for your attention..

Ronald

I have precisely the same situation, and my stuff works great. I
installed `printtool' and `pnm2ppa', and answered the questions that
printtool asked when it was configured, and that's all I had to do.
