Re: cannot run X apps when 'su'
Don't know if it's been mentioned on this thread yet, but Francois Gouget
wrote a script, sux, to transfer $DISPLAY and X cookies so X apps work
fine when assuming another user's identity. Details were posted here
about a year ago and I've appreciated it ever since. Just use it as a
drop in replacement for su.
