Nothing like militaristic Nazi Germany will happen again
while the US is the lone "hyperpower".

I wouldn't be so certain. It was the economic disaster and perpetual chip on the shoulder, directly attributable to post-World War I sanctions, that lead to the rise of the National Socialist Party. Don't know about you, but I'm keeping a close eye on both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
