abiword fonts -- avoid?

Hi everyone,

I love to use AbiWord, but in Debian the abiword-common package always
updates the fonts, which are very ugly in my opinion.  I normally rm -rf
them and replace them with symlinks to cleaner fonts, but everytime
abiword is updated, my changes are destroyed.  How do I avoid Debian
from destroying my changes, and not install the abiword fonts?
