Help!!!Can't get X running with Radeon7000pci or Voodoo3 2000 agp
I'm still trying to get X-Free86 running on a woody box with either a
Voodoo 2000 agp or
a Radion7000pci. I am running Woody with XFree86-4. I've tried recompiling
kernel 2.4.18 using make-kpkg and have versions without agp support,
without agp or DRI support and with both installed or as
modules. Currently they are installed as modules. I've tried downloading
and installing new DRI modules from dri.sourceforge.net for the two.
I've tried loading the libglide modules for the voodoo3 card.
I've also tried the thing with Section "DRI" Mode 0666.
Help! This is a work computer and I'm supposed to be getting some work
done!.
Anyway, the following are my XFree86.0.log and XF86Config files. Please,
if anyone can just tell me how to get some kind of svga mode with either
card I would be happy. (Also, no I do not have both cards installed at
once).
I've looked at the debianplanet instructions for Voodoo and Radeon...but
nothing seems
to work. HELP!!!!
