RE: AIM Installation Errors

Than try:

cp /usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6.1-2.so.3 /usr/lib/libstdc++-lib6.1-1.so.2

I had the same problem, or similar,
when installing Java. This is how I
solved it, and it works perfectly fine
now. The alternative would be to
download the libraries from Debian via
apt-get. Just figure out what package
libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 is in, and
download it.

That didn't work. It came back with a cp: cannot stat
/usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2: no such file or directory

This is the output of /usr/lib ls |less (or atleast part of it)

Enter this as root in the command line:

cp /usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.3 /usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2

That should work!
