Yep. ~/.Xsession . On my system, KDE is default, but my user account has
a ~/.Xsession that looks like this:

exec /usr/bin/gnome-session

It's clean =)

Actually, I lied a little bit, my .Xsession actually looks like this:

LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libgdkxft.so exec /usr/bin/gnome-session

, which enables gtk font-smoothing, which is niiiiiiiice =)
