I note
1 there are no entries in /var/spool/news/interesting.groups
2 if I want to run fetchnews -vv -f I have to do this from root, I
caanot run this from my user account.
3 when I do this i can see from the modem that data is being
received but the hdd light does not flicker and thus nothing is
being written to file
Are 1,2 & 3 linked?
Whereto?
Am i correct in assuming that I should be able to run it from user$,
and should I then change permissions somewhere?
