I don't think you even need that .class file for the plugin to
work. Anyhow, a simple search in bugzilla turns up quite a few bugs
about java and flash plugins not working when both are installed (I had
it happen at some point last year).
Here's one that causes a crash, for e.g.:

My suggestion, once again, is to upgrade to the latest version of
mozilla.
