Mozilla 0.9.8-2 mail

I just convinced my woody/sid system to install Mozilla 0.9.8-2.  The browser 
works fine but when I try to execute the mail-news app I got:

LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library 
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/java2/p
lugin/i386/ns600/libjavaplugin_oji.so [libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2: cannot open 
sha
red object file: No such file or directory]
Segmentation fault

I found one message about this in English and I installed 
 libstdc++2.9-glibc2.1 (2.91.66-4).

This just eliminated the first part of the error message but left the 
Segmentation fault.
