here is some pix of my desktop nori, btw, wmaker is cool and
pretty damn hard to beat, i have tried many desktops, gimp 1.2 runs real

You mean you have tried several windowmanagers. Have you tried sawfish?

Preben

yes, i have, not for very long, that may have been
gnome-session? i think so, uh, i think my main
probelems with sawfish was i dont like gpanel at
all, it is too confining, also, i if i am not
mistaken, the alt grab window trick is broken, and
i cant live with out that, too many windows where
not resizable width wize, i know with middle click
i could widen all the way, hmm what else was there,
i like gmc, so that worked well with sawfish ( it
works with wmaker too ), sawfish had a lot of
bells and whistles, not really my style - perhaps
i could try again after a while, i change to twm
still, which by the way is a good program to have
because if you are running 2 X servers, second as
root, sometimes other window managers will notice
the other one and do some ipc - just a guess, but
i often end up running twm on a second x server as
root to do cdburns and what not, i hate su'ing all
the time - did you want to know if i tried sawfish?
