but sure, i am splitting hairs. you are free to do what you want, as
Joey pointed out.
i'd suggest /var/cache/mirrors or /var/spool/mirrors though. or placing
it straight into the /var/www hierarchy. (/var/www itself however
offending the FHS in my opinion).
