It's running fine for me :)  The below is from 1.4B2 but I had 1.3.x 
running fine prior.  What specifically do you observer when "it doesn't 
work"?  Send the output of errors and what you entered to the 
debian-user list.

Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.0-beta2-b77)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.0-beta2-b77, mixed mode)
