If you have 2 functioning serial ports and cable, you should be able to
connect by ppp.  If not "cat file >/dev/ttyx"

You can use mime or something to get file in 7 bit text. Then transfer it
through serial.  May need to edit few junks before and after transfer by
editor.  Reconstruct it.
