The best way I think is, you should compile your own
kernel and modules, for your cards. First of all
examine the current situation by looking at the log
some where or the console when you try to insert the
modules for the card, to make sure that the card is
working; if not, make your own kernel to do that. If
the cards is ok, then you can run manully the ifconfig
command to configure the interface and try to ping out
through that interface to see.
