The preceding log leads us to believe that the message has been
delivered to your smtp daemon (exim).  The next step is not to
look in $HOME/incoming, but in exim's log files.  If I recall
correctly, these are /var/log/exim/mainlog and
/var/log/exim/errorlog or something similar (switch the exim dir
for mail dir?).  Anyway, find the appropriate files and either
run the above test once again or look at the events timestamped
at 20:43:29 -0400.

I really shouldn't ask, but was there some reason other than the
fact that all the voluteered help uses fetchmail that you
abandoned getmail?
