hello,

i have mrtg running on my potato box with snmpd. you should be able to
just
	apt-get install snmpd

then afterwards, you may have to edit your

	/etc/snmp/snmpd.conf

the help/example docs that come with mrtg should be able to help you...
if not, let me know and i can send some of my settings.
