Yes, but I did that before mailing.  I no longer get those errors, but
dhclient still says:

DHCPDISCOVER on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 p

DHCPDISCOVER on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 p
DHCPDISCOVER on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 p
No DHCPOFFERS received.
No working leases in persistent database
